Super, bright, ground floor Haut de Cagnes apartment with easy access – sleeps up to 3 people. Totally renovated! La Pitchina (36m2) is located on one of the village’s main streets, so you can stop and unload your car at the door! Situated in a 3 storey, west facing building totally upgraded with one apartment per floor and no property opposite, hence no vis-a- vis – just an open view to the hills beyond – unusual for a village house. Apart from one step between the kitchen-living room and one step between the 2 bedrooms, La Pitchina is on one level, making it easy for those with children or those with difficulty walking.

Kitchen/Living Room
Enter the apartment directly into a bright kitchen-living room with 2 windows – you will find a comfy sofa, kitchen table with 4 chairs and a brand new kitchen with fridge, oven, 4 ring electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine (French press and capsule machine), kettle, toaster, sink and storage cupboards. There is a small seating area underneath one of the windows and a radio for your pleasure. From the kitchen you arrive into a corridor, which leads to the bathroom, followed by second bedroom and finally the main bedroom at the end.

The Bathroom
The bathroom has been totally renovated, it has a shower, w.c and wash-hand basin. The tiles are in black and white.

Second Bedroom
This little bedroom with window has a single bed (90cm) plus an extra pull-out single bed stored underneath. You pass through this room to reach the main bedroom, so ideally suited to children, good friends or family members. A washing machine-dryer is tucked away in a cupboard below the window.

Master Bedroom
The main bedroom has a double window, double bed (140cm), mirror and storage – there is a pretty view to the hills beyond. Air con is provided, which is sufficient to cool the entire apartment if you leave the door open plus there are fans at your disposal during the summer months. There are mosquito screens on all windows

Outside Space
The building has a charming outside space around it, with a paved pathway with pretty flower beds. The view is open, green and very pleasant and the pathway rises above the village road, keeping it more private. La Pitchina has a small terrace off the pathway with table and chairs for outside dining and an electric awning, enjoying the afternoon sun or taking a chilled apero at sunset with the aroma of lavender, thyme and rosemary planted all around. The pathway offers access to one other apartment in the building and a house further up – both second homes –  however it is only used for access as theses properties have their own outside space.

This delightful, Haut de Cagnes apartment is located close to a free car park in the village, the paying car park Le Planastel and the bus stop for the free shuttle bus, which runs from the town to the village every 15 minutes.  La Pitchina is situated on a road easily accessible and large enough for any car to pass, without risking damage. Expect sun from the afternoon to early evening. Restaurants and cafes are a 5 minute walk away, as is the town below with its food market, supermarket, bakeries, chemist, bank and selection of shops. The town is well services with buses going to most places on the Cote d’Azur, plus there is a train station. The sea is a 25-30 minute walk and a free beach bus is provided from the town in July and August.
